When Iris and I planned this trip to Brazil, to explore Rio and experience Carnaval, I thought it was just two best friends on an adventure.
But then, in the stadium, watching the parade, caught up in the energy and dancing, we kiss. It should have been an innocent kiss, like kissing the stranger next to me.
I wasn’t supposed to feel things.
And now, there’s no turning back. There’s no denying the tether between us as it cinches tighter and tighter, drawing us together.
