The Date by B.L. Brooks

When my niece and nephew seem to lose their nanny at the mall, I get a buzz to help with the search. After all, I’m supposed to be the one they’re with…

But I’m at a loss for words when I connect with the angel who’s been watching the little rascals.

Fate seems to be intervening here in some way.

From the angel’s kind demeanor to her innocent smile, I’mhooked.

And when my nephew openly invites the angel to dinner tonight, I can’t suppress the thrill inside at keeping her around.

Though once the meal ends and the kids are gone, I have a decision to make…will I still—canI still be the gentleman I’ve always known myself to be on a first date?

Only the moment will tell.
