I was seconds from being seriously hurt (or worse). Luckily, a gorgeous hulking man appeared and yanked me up over some rocks. Is it odd that he decides to take me home and care for me? I guess he wants to keep an eye on my healing since he’s a medic. But it already feels like much more. Jonah Wolfe is sexy, smart and part of an important family… and clearly not the chatty type. He’s grouchy with others, but utterly sweet with me. His deep eyes speak volumes. Every touch, every caress whether innocent or not, makes my pulse surge. He wants me. I can feel it. Yet his overprotectiveness is totally over the top considering we barely know each other. I’m not sure if I’m ready for a brand new life, but I’m definitely ready for an older man who makes every inch of my body come alive.
