Demons aren’t supposed to have feelings. But I do, and that’s what made being condemned to earth my own personal hell. As the only empathetic sex demon in history, being surrounded by emotional mortals is absolute torture. All I want is to get out of here. Until I meet Harper Whitmore. The last thing I expect is to fall in love with her. But just when I decide life on earth might not be so bad, Hell decides they want me back. And they’ve just put a bounty on her head to make me comply. I have two choices: walk away from the woman I accidentally fell in love with…or fight for her, allowing her to discover that I’m nothing more than a monster. Either choice will condemn me to a life of misery, but for the first time in my life, I just want to do what’s good. If only I knew what that was…

Aliens came to Earth, but not to conquer, not to broker peace, not to offer technology and show us the galaxy. No, they came for me. More specifically, for my body. My job had consumed my life. The scientists that came in would get drunk and talk of other worlds and aliens, a nice distraction from my problems. I didn’t believe a word of it, of course. Well, it turns out it was very real. On my way home from work, I was hit by a blinding white light and knocked unconscious. When I woke up, I was surrounded by aliens. Little green men? Not so much. More like bulging gigantic red men, and they did not have my best interests in mind. Before they could take me for themselves, an even larger blue man burst into the room and dispatched the red aliens in the blink of an eye. He towered over me and glared down at me with the intensity of a burning star before releasing my bindings and stealing me away to a hidden area of the ship. Idalas was equally stoic and passionate. It was like a switch inside him would flip from one minute to another. His passion was fiery and unrelenting when he got worked up about something. His muscles would tense up and bulge, his sharp jawline would set tightly, and the look in his eyes was as terrifying as it was irresistible. The longer I’m with him, the more I want him to turn that fire on me. I’ve seen it in his eyes when he looks at me, smoldering embers held at bay by sheer willpower. It was unnerving at first, but the thought of being consumed is starting to feel more and more right.
