The day Colin turns up on Julia’s doorstep, he reveals a secret that will throw both her world and his into turmoil. A woman in the business of love that’s never been in a real relationship. Check. That’s me. Nessa Night. Now I know what you’re thinking. That sounds like a stripper name. Hold up. Let me explain. It’s my radio talk-show name. My incognito way of helping the world love deeper and more often. Though my love life is like a ten-year-old fall leaf trapped between the pages of an old journal. #dramatic I’m short. Curvy. Average at best. And I’m a fraud. For all the advice I give on the air, I have zero experience to back it up. I’m eternally single. Forever alone. And the only man I’ve ever caught feelings for is one of my callers: Mr No Name. Much to my surprise, he’s not unknown at all. The grandson of the great Jack Daniels is my caller, and worse? He’s my brother’s best friend from high school. Only one way to right these increasingly awkward wrongs. High school reunion time. He wants in, and I want a date who looks like him. The only thing off is his advice about love. It’s from Nessa night. Me! And if he swoons over her (me!) one more time, I’ll have to give in and tell him. Besides, I’m in the business of love. If I don’t got this, who does? *Gulp*
It’ll take more than a wish to help this fairy godmother find her own happy ever after. When Martha, tired of working as a fairy of pleasure, uses illegal magic to bring two lovers together, she’s caught by a fae inquisitor and dragged before the Seelie court. She’s sure to be stripped of her magic if she’s convicted. Lucky for her, she’s got some time before she goes to trial—she has forty days to save herself from the court’s judgment. Only true love can protect her from losing her magic forever. But the man she loved, the Fae King, died years ago. So what’s a fairy to do? Wave her wand and make a wish? That’s far too dangerous—not to mention illegal. But all magic comes at a price. She just has to decide if it’s one she’s willing to pay.
Where do you draw the line between immortal love and obsession? Years of bad luck have made Logan Pierce a little bitter, but it all goes from bad to worse the night she witnesses two immortal beings rip a man’s head off with their bare hands. Her life is wrecked overnight by a single man—Cyrus, who seems to think she’s someone important in his bloody world. But they won’t know the truth until she’s dead, and he’s very anxious to help her get there. But Logan isn’t going down without a fight. She makes him a deal. She will die, but first he must spend a month getting to know her, a month to change his mind. What she doesn’t expect is a month filled with displays of incredible wealth, spontaneous trips across the country, and unbelievable acts of immortal power. And as Logan spends her last days with Cyrus, she stops seeing the monster and begins to see a lonely, broken man she can’t walk away from. If she isn’t careful, it won’t just be her life she loses at the end of the month, but her heart as well…
Rose never really expected to return to Wildlife Ridge after she graduated high school, but here she is, sixteen years later. She wants to spend some time focusing on her new life as an entrepreneur, away from the big city rat race, and her quiet hometown in the mountains seems like the perfect place to do that. She’s excited to spend some time with her parents, and has barely given a passing thought to seeing Ethan again. Really. Hardly at all.
Ethan hasn’t seen Rose on her infrequent visits home. He’s never forgiven himself for cancelling out on taking her to prom at the last minute. His life hasn’t panned out the way he expected, but he loves his town and he’s hopeful she’ll love it enough to stick around for awhile, give Wildlife Ridge a second chance. And maybe give him a chance to make it up to her after all this time.
